Volunteer Role Possibilities
- Set-up: Volunteers will help hang signage, assist vendors, and anything in between. Flexibility and a willingness to be on your feet is key for this position.
- Check-In: This role is ideal for the person who is comfortable with using their personal phone. You will be checking in attendees with the Eventbrite app. Instructions will be sent out beforehand to allow you to download the app ahead of time. This role may require you to be on your feet as you check people in.
- Glass & Bag Distributor: After attendees are checked in, the volunteers will hand them a bag and glass to use throughout the festival. This role requires you to be on your feet the entire time.
- Information Area: The volunteers will assist with greeting people, welcoming them, and giving them an overview of the festival. They will also answer questions and direct crowds.
- Wine Check: Collect bottles from the wine vendors and group them by the purchaser’s name. At the wine check area, organize them by last name. This role requires you to be on your feet the entire time.
- Grape Gatherers: This role is ideal for the person who just wants to help wherever needed on event day! Tasks may include assisting with check-in, handing out glasses/bags, answering questions, or anything in between. You may be filling in for a last-minute volunteer cancellation, or even helping to empty garbage if necessary. Flexibility and a willingness to be on your feet is key for this position.
